A Love - Note Treasure Hunt

We are working on being intentional with the girls, and I remembered the 5 love languages book I read years ago. I did a search on Audible and I started listening to Gary Chapman's The 5 Love Languages of Children.

Words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch are the 5 love languages.

Starting tomorrow Feb 1st and leading up to Valentine's Day, Blake and I are giving the girls a love note treasure hunt around the house. It's important for our children to know that love for family and friends is just so special and I want to model ways they can share that love.

My hope in sharing is that you will put this into place too. And I would love to hear how your kids are loving it.

Easy tips:

- I just used rainbow notebook paper we had on hand and cut hearts -- the different sizes are fine and fun!

- We took one evening after the girls went to bed to write these all at once - so hiding is all that is needed each night.

- Not good at cutting out hearts? Here is a link to folding origami hearts.
